Not so clever

I was the DOP on this shoot. We tried something interesting on this one, we had 2 HVX200's set up in opposite directions on a steadicam.

Copied and pasted from the info on youtube:

Two cameras, on ONE "Steadicam," shooting in opposite directions, simultaneously!

This project was produced by Mission Media for their client LUMIFI.com. I laid down some vocals for a pre-written song and concept. I also got to work with two funny and talented musicians, Skizz Cyzyk and Scott Brown, who play the ukulele and the melodica.

The idea was to exploit a dynamic split-screen Steadicam technique to showcase two characters who have contrasting approaches to managing a variety of data in their lives. One is organized and relaxed and uses Lumifi.com to Analyze, Manage and Share information. The other uses conventional methods and is completely disorganized and stressed.

Technically speaking, the use of just ONE Steadicam to achieve this effect in "real time" was a challenging experience but resulted in a cinematic first!
