heavy-duty vinten vision 11 tripod setup. supports cameras from 4-60lbs
great from everything from an hpx170 up to jib work. (ive used it for both)

has seen a good deal of use. but is in superb working order.

comes with padded soft case. one of the zipper tracks needs to be reset (see last pic) but its been off for a while and i just never close it... the carrying handles effectively keep the bag closed

looking for $1000 (OBO) ground shipped within the greater 48 us states.

Hi wgzn,

Could you tell me the model number of the tripod? I'm just trying to get more info on it, but seems the tripods I fid have more id than just vision 11 system. Or maybe a link as well?
 
there are no model numbers, names, or identifying marks on the tripod itself anywhere. other than vinten embossed in the metal.
 
Hmm, really? Not even on the head, maybe somewhere below the controls r something? No serial number or anything?

Did you buy this used and that's how you don't know it first hand?
 
why would the model number of the tripod be marked on the head?
but no. i looked extensively before listing the kit and there was no info anywhere...
there is a serial number on the head. but that wouldnt have anything to do with the sticks.
and ive looked around and dont find any serial number lookup database for vinten stuff anyway: (

i mean i guess i could call the company...

yeah, i bought it used a while back. i didnt ever investigate the model of the sticks, as they looked just like every other vinten vision line tripod id ever seen.

in looking at the current vinten site. it seems they sell a lot of "systems" with a choice of head but whatever their current line of sticks is at that time. now they just refer to their "pozi-loc" tripod without any specific model designation.
and im guessing that it was addressed similarly when mine was manufactured.

it seems that vinten is more a head company and just makes a small, medium and large. "mc-tripod" kind of deal
