As the title states: Selling or trading my tripod head for something smaller.
CONDITION:
This pan head is in good shape, lock knobs are scuffed but lock solidly, drag resistance knobs are scuffed but function perfectly.
Teeth where the handle bolts on are a bit worn, but it holds position even on extreme tilts with high resistance.
This head is about 10 years old and has seen a lot of action, but there is a ton of life left in it.
Overall in great working shape, needs nothing (except sticks, obviously) and is ready to roll
ABOUT:
The Vision 10 LF (Lubricate Friction) is not a true fluid head with internal liquid transfer chambers, but instead a series of grease-packed adjustable friction plates.
Resistance knob applies and holds torque, making it possible to pan at incredibly slow at a consistent pace, exactly simulating the effect of a true fluid head.
This design is much less expensive and more durable without sacrificing performance.
Rated for loads up to 33 LBS, this head is traditionally used with ENG camcorders, however I no longer have the quick-release mounting plate for those cameras
Using standard 3/8 or 1/2 mounting bolt any digital filmmaking camera is compatible.
