Vingetting/Dark Corners with OIS

I just received a new HMC150 last week and while getting familiar with the camera, I noticed that when fully zoomed in & OIS is turned on, there is a bit of vingetting when the camera is trying to track an object (particularly in the bottom corners). When turning off OIS, this phenomenon goes away. Has anyone else experienced this with the HMC150 or is this a defect in my camera?
 
I ran some tests and here's what I noticed: when fully zoomed in (between about 10x and 13x), and when OIS is turned on, AND when the iris is half open or greater, there is definitely vingetting in the frame that appears to track with the stabilization apparatus. This is most prominently seen against a solid background (ie. blue sky). Is this happening with other HMC150s? Is this normal function?
