Vimeo Test

[BobDiaz]

OK, I was going crazy trying to figure out why my VIMEO videos wouldn't show the forum....

I'd put the VIMEO Tags around the link, http://vimeo.com/9991641
and it never worked.

It turns out that the correct way to do it is ONLY use the number, VIMEO_TAG 9991641 /VIMEO_TAG

live and learn!
come on, Bob!

hehehe, that's probably the way they designed the BB code here.
on my forum, i have it the same way, seems more logical to me...but since you tried the whole URL, that probably would work as well...the BB just needs to be modified..
but the video tag is much shorter

It looks like YouTube links work the same way, don't copy the whole URL, just copy the part in red:

Yep.. Preview post is your friend. That's how i figured out what was needed for Vimeo and YT tags to work. Trial and error.
