GH5 Viltrox M2 II - Do any lenses work reliably with continuous autofocus?

Not for anything fancy like face tracking, I just need good old centre autofocus like on my C300 mki.

I have the following lenses which do not work. They kind of focus and then freak out.

- Sigma 17-50
- Tokina 11-16
- Tamron 17-50

Do any lenses work reliably with continuous auto-focus on a GH5 or is it not worth pursuing?

TIA

It is my understanding, based on internet research, that you will not get good continuous autofocus on GH5 with an adapter. I haven't tested it myself, but this is the conclusion that I have come to.

I personally have never had any good experiences when trying to run cAF through my metabones. Lenses that work great on my 1Dx mkii continuously hunt and drop focus on the GH5.

I've had very good luck with the Viltrox EF-M2 speedbooster and Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens on the GH5s when I've used that combination on a Ronin-S. I don't have the GH5, so can oly comment on the GH5s
I only use the continuous autofocus when I don't attach a usb-c cable to enable the focus knob on the Ronin-S
One thing with the continuous AF is that I usually will adjust the focus target area, since if my subject leaves the target area the camera will refocus to something else in that target area, so it can be a little tricky... But if I keep them in the area then the camera maintains focus well.
