viewing HD Dailies on an HDTV Television

how does one view HD dailies w/ sound from the info on a Macbook pro to an HDTV (consumer). is it better to go with an s-video cable or DVI /or HDMI inputs. there is an s-video output on the mac, as well as the television.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

PS: the info we are viewing would be from a pansonic P2 card.
 
Using the HDMI out is best. When I tried this with my Imac, it worked great.
When I recently got a Macbook Pro, it worked- but required some tweaking in the laptop output settings (was way too dark as is).
 
Best way from MacBook Pro is to buy a Matrox MXO. You can take its DVI output to another computer monitor and view proper HD for color correction. It also has simultaneous component output so you can go component to HDTV.
