Viewing Footage in P2 CMS Viewer

Hey there-

producer in field here. I just want to view my footage off the La Cie Drive on my MacBookPro laptop- do not have FCP in field. Camera man left with assurance we could use p2 viewer to see footage. Ain't happening.

So, no camera, although he used HPX170- P2 cards downloaded to external HD - like I said- just want to view footage on laptop - is this an impossibility?

Mxf files, obviously.
Raylight only giving me 10 secs with no video.
P2CMS been ingesting LaCie bout 45 mins now, came up before with no database error.

Like I said, brilliant ones, is viewing this footage even possible?

When P2CMS reports no database it meas the "directory/folder" to which P2CMS wrote the footage is no longer there where it wanted to find it.

You're not being specific enough, do you have a LaCie drive with the content of the P2 cards or a drive with a P2CMS ingest of those cards? Do you have the cards? Or just the Hard-Drive?
