Viewfinder shoe and mounting plate

Hey does anyone know where I can find a replacement for the VF shoe and mount? Mine sadly are missing. Or maybe any other alternatives that have worked?

Need to mount a C30WR.

A few things:

The HDVF "VF Shoe" is the same as the F5/F55 line.

Cheapest option I found is hunting down the F5/F55 stock handles on eBay. They have the exact same one used on the F35.

The Viewfinder Mount is a little trickier to find because the stock one is not correct. It puts the VF too close to the lens. Long zoom lens is usually only ones that will work with the stock VF mount. So then you are looking for one of the offset custom VF mount's that either put the VF up or diagonal away from the lens.

Also I think this is a little known fact:

There is VF mount holes on the L Handle so you can mount the stock Sony VF on the L handle with no extra parts.

I have some of the VF mounts I can sell you PM me. What we really need is a 3d printed set, it is a fairly simple shape to make.

thanks for this information. How do I attach the EVF to the L handle? I was never able to figure this out. Thanks in advance. Also the piece I’m missing is the center handle bracket mount for the EVF.

For mounting to the actual center handle, a custom metal piece like this could work for you, just mounted to the forward two screws.

Mounting to the L handle is a little tricky because I haven’t found a lot of plates that fit perfectly spacing-wise. I’ve included a setup that has worked for me though. Even if I’m not mounting an EVF there, its been handy if I want a monitor, catch light, and onboard mic all to be that far forward.

If you're talking about the stock EVF though, it looks like the threading on the L handle is a different size. Maybe the cage Archduk3 is working on will offer support for this?
