viewfinder is not working, any idea?

hello, i noticed that viewfinder on my camera does not work, is there any way how to find out whats is wrong (maybe just some switch on LCD does not work and viewfinder does not get signal to get on?)

thanks for any ideas.

BTW: i hope there is no hardware or software switch on camera, is not it?
