Viewfinder is just a big blurry mess?

I have had the Af-100 for about 2 months and have never used the viewfinder, only the LCD and an external monitor but tonight I took a gander in the viewfinder and it's just a huge blurry mess? Is mine defective? Or is there some kinda setting I have set on? Any help would be appreciated.

Nope. there's a big ring just forward of where you place your eye. Peek through while turning the ring (kind of like focusing) and you'll be good to go.
(and make certain there's no protective film over the clear plastic in front of your eye).

HAHAHAHA Wow I feel dumb! After a short film and many paying gigs and I never even noticed that! Viewfinder sucks anyway but THANKS! I just like to know there is nothing wrong with my camera.

Strangely enough the manual also has some good info on using the vf

I shoot about 90% of my footage on the viewfinder and love it. In black and white mode with red peaking on its super handy.
