I got the change to play a around with the HVX thinking strongly purchase this camera
When I look through the viewfinder the screen in viewfinder was very small size it's absolutely not possible to focus on something.
Is this size of the screen adjustable in the viewfinder this must be I think ??
I'm sure I do something wrong so tell me !!

You can't permanently enlarge the viewfinder.

However, you can switch the viewfinder from color to B&W only, which helps with focusing. In addition, you can turn on edge enhancement using the EVF DTL button below the viewfinder.

Finally, pressing the Focus Assist button will temporarily show an enlarged version of the image. It only works in HD (720 & 1080), it can't be used in DVCPro50, DV, or tape mode.

The dial around the viewfinder helps, depending on what your eye prefers, turn it all the way to the left, and then turn it to the right and stop until your eye is comfortable.

I find that the Focus Assist is extremely helpful, you'll learn to always use the focus assist function, it will become automatic when you use the camera often.

Focus Assist is an absolute necessity, I would never be able to focus properly without it. EVF DTL is always on in my camera.

I second having the viewfinder in black and white. I don't find it too small at ALL. It's pretty much the size of most broadcast viewfinders.. and they are usually all in black and white. It's also the ONLY way I've found to really get a good solid focus outside and for that matter, mostly inside. Still good to occasionally pop out the LCD just to check color temp, etc.. but mostly just viewfinder for me.. and or an external monitor.
