Viewfinder Dimension?

[larrys]

I just found a great eyecup for the viewfinder, but I do not know the size of the viewfinder on the GH1 as my GH1 has not arrived yet.

The eyecup comes in two sizes - 18mm or 22mm.

Can someone measure the GH1 viewfinder?

Thanks!

by the way, these are the viewfinders:

Anyone? Would like to order one. Thanks.

Very rough measurement has it at 10-12 x 12-14 as the screen and 25 x 40 for the whole thing.

Thanks Ryan,

I am not really sure, would have to call the company, but I think the eyecup may slide down over the rubber, so can you measure the rubber?

That last measurement was for the rubber, its quite large as it has sensors to measure the proximity of your face to the view finder.

OK, I looked at a photo of the back of the GH1 and I see what you mean, thanks!

This is a great item. i would love to get one if it could fit the GH1.

Hi all. Did anyone try one of these eyecups on their GH1 in the end? I'm also in the market for a replacement eyecup (much easier to judge critical focus in VF than LCD)...
