View Finder question

I'm sure this is a stupid question to a lot of you, but I'm new to the DVX100A and I'm not sure if it's just how their made or it's my camera.. but the view finder seems a bit foggy.

You should be able to see a circular adjustment ring around the eyepiece. Turning this clockwise or counterclockwise adjusts the focus on the viewfinder.
