SHORT: Viet Nam Nam Nam (WIP) *PICS*

[DivadWaldoss]

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on a new Vietnam War film, Viet Nam Nam Nam. It's an action comedy following a fat soldier during the Vietnam War. I currently have majority of my costumes and props. As of now I'm working on the fat face latex appliance (pictures below), camera dolly, and camera jib crane. If the project is a success and gets a fan base I do plan on turning it into a web series.
I'll be posting project updates, pictures, and behind the scenes as I go. I plan on shooting in about 2 weeks. It's being shot my my Canon HG10 and a Go Pro.
Pics below

*EDIT*
I'm running out of funds from my personal pocket, SO.... I've set up an Indiegogo page. If you have a couple bucks to spare, even only $5, I'd greatly appreciate it!
(Indiegogo has a $500 goal minimum... I only need to raise another $150.)

Fat Face prosthetic so far. Right now I have the clay sculpt pretty much completed. I'm ordering liquid latex tonight, and hopefully can finish the entire appliance this weekend.

In the photos the chin is kind of pointy and the right double chin (left side on the image) kind of bulges out more than the other side. I've fixed both of these issues.

Thanks for checking it out!

*UPDATE*
I just finished adding a skin texture to the sculpt for added realism. Here's a few pics of that...

The pictures don't show much detail (iPhone 3g camera isn't that great), but in person it looks pretty decent. I wouldn't be posting an update and pictures of it if I wasn't satisfied, haha

And more good news!
I ordered 1lb of alginate, 32oz of liquid latex, and a flesh tone makeup wheel. Hopefully it'll be here friday or saturday so I can finish this appliance. My budget for this film (out of my pocket) is only $100, and my total for what I just ordered (the alginate, liquid latex, and makeup) was only $42.92! The cheapest fat neck prosthetic appliance I found online was $88. DIY and Indie filmmaking FTW! I'll keep you guys updated when the materials come in and when i finish. I'll also be posting costumes and props a little later.

here's a few pictures of props/costumes!

The color of the pants and jacket don't match. I may try dying the jacket to make it greener to match the pants. Any suggestions?

Obviously the costume is pretty bare, and a soldier wouldn't have just a helmet, jacket, pants, and weapons. He'd have various pouches on a belt. Does anyone know where I can get some cheap ammo pouches and whatnot?

While your at it, go like the Facebook page. I need 25 likes to get a URL, so like and share it!

EDIT

alright, so to fix the color issue with the jackets and pants, I think I'm going to order a set of matching pants and jackets for what i already have. Then I'll have 6 costumes total... 3 of both colors.

and then i found a belt that came with pouches for pretty cheap (its a 5 pack)

These match EXACTLY with what I have now... I don't know why I didn't just order matching items when I originally ordered the set of 3 a year ago...

Only problem is it will then exceed my $100 budget !!
SOO.. I've created an indiegogo page if anyone has a few bucks they could spare. Even if a few people only give $5, it'll help a ton!

Thanks!

Here's a picture of my DIY snorri cam I made for this project. It looks a bit rough but it works pretty well.
