Videos: Odyssey7Q Multi-Stream

Not just for FS700, really for any HD cameras.

Two new videos on our website to introduce everyone to Multi-Stream monitoring, a special mode of the Odyssey7Q which is included in the monitor/recorder at no additional cost.

Introduction to Multi-Stream
The Odyssey7Q is an excellent monitor. It features an OLED panel, high resolution, lot of scopes and image analysis tools, etc. It also has tons of processing power, as it is a full 4K digital cinema RAW video recorder. When not using that processing power to record 4K, the Odyssey7Q can use it to add another monitoring function unprecedented in a device this size and price: Multi-Stream. The Odyssey can accept up to four full HD video inputs and either show them by switching sequentially through the inputs or by presenting all four simultaneously on the screen in quadrants. These HD monitoring signals are also passed on to the SDI and HDMI outputs of the Odyssey7Q. And these features are included in the Odyssey7Q at no additional cost.
Watch the video to learn all about the various features of the Odyssey7Qs Multi-Stream Viewing functionality.

Multi-Stream Camera Matching
Being able to view multiple video signals on a single screen can be very convenient. There’s ess equipment to carry around, making it easier to compare angles. But there are some definite technical advantages as well. While in Multi-Stream mode, the Odyssey7Q image analysis tools are all still operational and can be used to help technically match the signals coming out of each camera. This can save enormous time and expense in post. Watch the video for a basic demonstration of camera matching using the Odyssey7Q.

There's more cool stuff coming soon in Multi-Stream and otherwise on the Odyssey7Q. It's a very powerful machine.
