VideoMic problems please help

Hi guys, I just purchased a VideoMic for my production and planning to make it into a boompole. Somehow when the mic is plugged in with VXLR it cant pick up enough sound. The audio levels seem pretty low. I put the -60db on the camera and 0db on the mic but im not getting enough audio levels for some reason. I also adjusted the audio channel levels on the back of the camera too.

Can someone help me?
 
...Found out i forgot about the Line/Mic switch in front of the camera where the inputs are at. Just answered my own question lol.
