Uh, ok. Hmmm, the title of this thread is a tad bit misleading. But I'll chime in and hopefully others will too until a moderator catches on and closes the thread. Let's see ... um ... pound cake with peanut butter on it is cool.
I made a short film/ad for a local Coors Light competition with my DVX100. This is the first time I use it, so I am aware I had one or two technical difficulties using it. I shot this in less than 5 hours, guerrilla style, so there are some little jumps in the shots. I used a homemade steadycam, tripod and for lighting just reflectors and clamp on lightbulbs.
Now.. the story... A guy wakes up in a videogame. From 8bit mario to Grand theft auto... It's just plain wicked. :violent5: I've had a great response here in Puerto Rico. The short story was uploaded (finally) three days ago, and it's rating its going up really fast.
Please give your vote to you fellow rookie DVX100 user! Check on the bottom of the window, and click on the five coors light bottles. It will make a poor third world puertorican happy. (Yes, the situation over here is leading to that)
Now the story gets even more interesting. These Coors Light guys rejected my initial video beacuse it was too "violent". :kali:
The color correction brightness/contrast in the unrated youtube video are not so great (it was a very early version), but you can get the feeling of how the video was supposed to be...
