Each situation is different, each has variables that can't be accounted for, however, there are basics that will usually give a consistently good look for the given application.
In relation to wedding videography. Does anyone have certain camera settings (DVX100) have found give them great results... Crisp, clear footage. Also best to use 60i? 30P? 24P?

Re: Videography

A wedding video is something that has several shooting locations and several different lighting situations.  Each one requires something different.  There's no one set of settings which will work for every part of a wedding.  You have to adjust as you go.  It could be very bright in the church and then very dark in the reception hall.  It will probably be very bright outside and then possibly dark in the same place after the wedding.  There's no magic formula here.  You have to adjust to what you've got.

You can do weddings in 60i, 30p, or 24p; it's up to you.  Each has different needs in terms of how you handle the camera, but careful planning will get you through.  As for the crisp, clear footage, it can had in any of those formats.  You just need to supply the camera with the right lighting, the right focus, and the right exposure.

It's all very dependent upon what the client wants and prefers, too.  Do they want a dreamy movie-like feel?  Or do they want something with more natural-looking movement?  These are things you need to find out before you start.
