Video Village: How do YOU do it?

Right now I'm splitting a 50ft hdmi cable from my camera into an external monitor. Ghetto yes, but times are tight and it works for now. But what are all of you doing?

Yep, SDI into the TVLogic on camera and a 50' HDMI to a monitor. That's how it is right now

SDI looped thru to all monitors. Usually all Panasonics.

 

[Multi-Media]

Viewfinder for FOCUS (B&W with Focus Assist in Red), LCD for framing mostly, HDMI to Lilliput 10" for FRAMING on jib and sometimes on camera top or rails.

 

[Postmaster]

I use the HDMI splitter on my v-mount box. One cable goes into the TVLogc monitor the other one goes in a cheap consumer HD transmitter.


My "video village" is a flight case that comes on wheels. It houses a 22" full HD computer monitor,that can be bolted on top of it and the HD receiver.



An yeah,I know our dining room is a mess :undecided

HD-SDI Panasonic monitors for everything. I have too many failures with HDMI in harsh work conditions.

Panasonic 1710 17" HDSDI for the director, Panasonic 2550 26" HDSDI to client, etc.
TVLOGIC 5.6" for onboard if necessary.
