Video tripod legs not include the bowl ball?

I've been looking at video tripod legs. Up till now I've just used a standard photographic manfrotto tripod. Clearly I see the benefit of the bowl design for levelling. However, when I look at tripod legs, they all seem to just have the empty socket. I have three very good fluid heads. Can I not buy a tripod with the bowl ball that my heads can screw on to??

When you look for bowl adapters, there's not a lot of factors - most common bowls are 75 and 100mm... they go larger for high-end stuff.

Every bowl adapter I have seen has a 3/8-16 screw (except those cheap head & leg setups they sell on Amazon and Cowboy studio, which are surprisingly nice heads for $140 or so), so check your heads for the mounting hole size.

Satchler, Cartoni, & maybe others, use metric M10 threads.

It's been my experience that the best way to ensure compatibility is to stay with the same brand.
