Avr,
First question: What's your budget? ... followed quickly by, what level of production is this - how importtant is picture quality and range?

About the top of the line right now is the Canatrans (http://www.lentequip.com/products/canatrans.html) clocking in at $4000
Though frowned upon by many contries as it's basically a small pirate TV station, this appears to be the best peice of kit out there, transmitting a long way with no breakup. It also appears to have a very low faliure rate, backed up by fantastic customer service.

I'm guessing that with the DVX, you don't want a transmitter that costs the same as the camera, so...

At the other end of the scale is the cheapo 2.4GHz video links (like the 'spy' one above) that you should be able to find at your local corner shop. Ok, not quite corner shop, but at least anywhere where TVs and VCRs are sold. We picked up a set for $50 from a local supermarket's home electronics department. These will work for a few tens of meters, but will break up easily, especially when you ad things like movement, walls, people, and other radio signals into the mix. They will do the job though. I've used them succesfully (enough) when better gear wasn't available.

Ok, both ends of the scale there I may have allready answered your question, otherwise we'll need a little more info. How much and what do you want it to do? the 2.4GHz ones require their own reciver, those TV ones can be picked up on any TV. Both have their benefits of course.

thanks for the info.

mikkowilson, I don´t know how much quality I need, simply I need a transmiter receiver to monitoring the steadicam shoots, so I think that a cheap 2.4 Ghz will be fine ... or not?

thanks again

You should be able to find a 2.4GHz kit prety cheap. Get one and try it out. If it doesn't work well enough for you, return it or keep it as a backup. - They will do the job if need be.
