Video scopes

Hello

Is there any mac software that will show me the video scopes (RGB parade, etc) of my camera while I record? I don't need the software to actually record.

Scopebox sounds fantastic but is way out of my price range!!!

hmm...final cut is not exactly a cheaper option. also be good if the scopes were full screen so its an easy monitoring tool!

I think Scope Box is MAC. I met the guys from Scope Box at NAB and they are really nice.

Cheaper waveform/vectorscope software?

Cheaper waveform/vectorscope software?

with the ones already mentioned I guess this one is too expensive as well. <http://www.hdmonitorpro.com/HD%20Monitor%20Pro/Home.html>

There's always FlipFlop but it's only basically for flopping the image and record to disk. <http://web.mac.com/mark.burton/FlipFlop/FlipFlop.html>

Without record to disk in Big Mug Software's Capture Magic HD version for 299 <http://www.bigmugsoftware.com/capture/> maybe try the monitor only version for 89 dollars?

I think there used to be some shareware type apps floating around on MacUpdate and VersionTracker as well. You might do a search.

Monitor Magic looks to be exactly what I was looking for! - Shame you need to have FCP installed to get the DVCPRO-HD Codec...hmmm.

Thanks for the link!

I have Scopebox and it is really a great program. I just use it for the scoping capabilities. It isn't cheap, however.
