Video playing ChOpPy inside FCP 6

i'm editing a video (raw footage from my HPX is 24pn/720) and everything plays fine, however i created an image with a clouds timelapse inside AE and exported it as a QT file (23.98/720x1280) so that i can add it to my timeline and it plays choppy within the timeline. outside of FCP it plays fine. is there something i'm missing?

Probably too high a data rate for your harddrives. Open in QT Player or FCP and re-export as DVCPROHD codec and it should play fine.

Exporting the file from AE as a QT file provides no information about which codec you used?

My guess is that it is the animation codec with an alpha channel. It should be to the codec, and frame rate of your FCP sequence.

thanks that solved it. however, i'm curious, i have another video clip i imported from videocopilot that uses the photo/jpeg codec and the clip i created in AE uses the exact same settings/codec except mine doesnt play in FCP smoothly and the videocopilot version does. anyway, no big deal, the DVCPROHD codec resolved it so as long as it works.
