If you're interested, run some tests and see how the highlights react from the native 4K/24p/30p LOG directly from Apple vs. what BM is offering through its app with 4K/60p.
I'm not saying they definitively should be different because I just wouldn't know that from an engineering perspective, but all throughout digital camera history when LOGs were first being put into cameras around 2010, there have been different processes for LOG acquisition and it's not always apples-to-apples.
An infamous example that confused everyone is the creation of pseudo-LOG profiles by third-parties for really old DSLRs.
