I hope this has not been posted. The seach function did not work.
One bis complaint of the GH1 is, that there is no video out during preview and recording.
At least during preview, there is away.
Unfortunately not through HDMI but only through the normal yellow video jack.
When you plug this into a monitor and switch the GH1 to video mode, usually the monitor is black.
If you then press the delete button for several seconds and the live picture is there.
When you record is disappears, bur when the recording is finished, it comes back up.
For my and my way of working, this is ok, much better at least than not having a video out at all.
If this is common knowledge and has been around, sorry for the posting.
