Video: Odyssey7Q & FS700

Mitch:

This video is so helpful! I am someone coming into video from a lifetime (since 1956) of shooting stills. Now I am seguing into video and, although I know my lenses, etc., I have a lot to learn about continuous lighting and shooting. Tutorials like this make instant sense and I can see what I can do. I am amazed at how many buttons on the 7Q I have never touched until now because I was not clear on what they do.

The tutorial makes it clear that I have to just jump in and do it.

Thank you so much. Would love to see some more, as time permits.

If I wasn't 100% sold on the 7Q before, I am now. Once I get department approved, we will be ordering our unit. Thanks, Mitch!

Great, been using my odyssey for a while, but still nice to see vids like this to pick up on a feature I may not already be using. Quick question, any word on coming out with 1TB SSD Drives?

Thanks for the compliments. The goal of these videos is to help illustrate all these clever functions available in the Odyssey7Q, in particular the possibilities opened up when it is integrated with a camera like the FS700. There are numerous videos currently on our website and more videos are on the way.

We have been testing with some sample 1TB drives and we hope to be able to make a model available in the Fall. No word on pricing as we have to make sure we have a product that matches our specs.

We have now shipped several thousand Odyssey SSDs and have not suffered a single downed unit. A couple somehow made it out to clients deactivated, but we were able to reawaken them in the shop. Thousands of SSDs with zero failures. It is unprecedented.
