Video Noise-Component Cable?

Hello All

Im getting a ton of Noise in my video signal. I only have 1 Sony Bravia HD monitor and a Gateway 22 inch PC/Video monitor. I have tried it on both of My HVX's and am still getting tons of noise. Similar to a what one would expect from a Crappy video cable. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be that these HVX cables are just very poorly made?

It is possible I could be having issues with the AC line in my studio too.

try putting the hdtv on Normal, and not on the dinamic setting, to see the difference.

What do you mean by noise. (it can mean alot of things to different people)

Like SPZ said, play with your tv settings, but if you are getting on both, then chances are it is the feed.

It could be the cable.

It could be that you need a power conditioner to clean the AC line from interference.

It could be the connection on the HVX (that D4 connector is one of the weak links on the HVX)

It could be your settings on the camera. (maybe you have gain turned on, or the ND Filter on, or stopped down)

Or it could be that you are filming in a dark area. (the HVX is not the cleanest signal when there is low light levels)
