Mitch, I am really glad you do videos. If a picture tells a thousand words, a video saves a few questions :)

id like to get a sunhood and case. Just confirming the solid camera main bracket and sony plate can stay attached in case, and the sunhood stays attached and folded in the case? Or do you need to remove the through screws, detach and fold?

I presume also that the solid camera system and the cd bolt plates are incompatible? I'd be better off just finding the solid camera way of mounting the bolts to the wedge system?

in other news it's been bugging me what is so familiar about your voice and mode of speech (primarily where/when you pause). I realise now it's "mr Anderson" !!! Agent smith from the matrix :) unique and cool

These accessories predate the Solid Camera design, and I do not believe they will work together. The Solid Camera frame adds size to the height and width, although just a little. You might be able to get the Solid Camera rig into our case by carving away a bit of foam, but there's not a lot on the sides before you hit the accessory area in the case. The mounting of the hood, the stand and the Teradek Battery Plate are also not compatible with the Solid Camera system. I think if you go with Solid Camera you basically go completely with Solid Camera. I know Carlos has a hood of some sort in the works as well.

I've never heard the Agent Smith comparison before, although I do rack my neck like him sometimes...

Do you have any update regarding the status of the Convergent Design Hood for the Odyssey. I have had one on order with B&H for a couple of weeks now and just curious when you guys will begin filling orders to the dealers. Wedding season is upon us and I will be shooting a lot of outdoor ceremonies.
