Video glich

I did an audio test with a mic today and found a glich on my video. Weird but good catch. I shot it on the HPX500. Not sure if the glich happened on the camera, p2 card, or capture process. I have attached a frame of the glich. Has anyone seen this before? Any solutions? Am I going to have to send the camera to Panasonic?

Thats the new Nintendo pixel shift update... no not really... I think I saw this once on my HVX but I cant remember, did it only happen on one frame?

It could be part of the capture process- did you use FCP?

Yes, that is a capture process glitch. I've had a couple of those and they were always because of a capture error. All you have to do is go back to the original P2 data and reimport the bad clip. After thousands of hours of shooting, I've never had a P2 card give me a single bad frame. Now where's some wood for me to knock on?

Best for you to go back to your original card data and reimport. This is why it's important to archive the original cards, and not just the Quicktime file generated when importing into FCP.

Not to be "that guy" but I have had a whole P2 card go south for no apparent reason. Solid state is great but not fool proof. Just saying, never get too comfortable.
