Video cropping

oes anyone know if its possible to crop video using power director 13,i can use the crop option on this software but all i can get it to do is gradualy zoom in to the required extra zoom at the end of the clip,i know some software allows the clip to be zoomed in the required amount from the start.
 
I'm not familiar with Power Director, but what you're describing sounds like you've inadvertently inserted a keyframe, and put your cropping at that point. What happens then is that the clip starts out with no cropping, then gradually -- or quickly, depending on how far in the keyframe has been placed -- transitions to the new crop settings.

Start with a fresh version of the clip. Make sure your timeline cursor (or whatever Power Director uses to indicate your current position in the clip) is at the absolute beginning frame of that clip. Then make your crop settings. If PD works like Vegas and similar programs, you should then have cropping that's consistent for the entire clip.
