I have a short (3 min) video filmed at 1080i60 on my HVX200. I normally output all video in QTime files after editing in Final Cut.
My client intends to broadcast this video onto a building using an upper end Christie Digital projector, so clarity and crispness of the originating file is important. However, the client requires the video file in wmv format.
My 3-minute video in QTime is about one gig in size. Dimensions are 1280x720, codec DVCPRO HD 720/p60, total bit rate 46,033.
When I output to wmv, I get a 7.6 MB file with dimensions squeezed from 16.9 to 4:3 ... Inspector can't locate any codec or bit rate info.
I get the same results whether outputting direct to wmv from Final Cut or by using Flip4Mac or MPEG Streamclip.
Any suggestions on how I might achieve proper aspect ratio and file density?
Thanks in advance
