Good to see. My question is one of 1/2" lens compatibility. They say it works with any 1/2" lens however I notice/read the lens interface is the contact in the mount not the lens cable. Having only had a removble lens on a JVC DV500 I am not familiar with Sony lens but I know it is different to what I had with a cable from my lens to the camera body.
How would you go using a 1/2" lens without the 'Sony Mount'? Does the mount adaptor have the lens interface connector for non Sony lens?

oh, I don't have that lens anymore as I sold the DV500 & lens when I got my EX1 but if I sold the EX1 & moved to an EX3 I was considering what alternate lens options I could use. It seems you are really limited to the 1/2" ones designed for Sony or the lens will be totally manual. With this 2/3" adaptor you could use non Sony 2/3" lens. I wonder if this 2/3" also accepts Sony lens.
The Sony supplied 1/2" adaptor really should have a similar 12pin connector as well so you can use either lens for Sonly or lens for Panasonic/JVC...
