I recently purchased the VID LED [SIZE=-1]coolLED-[/SIZE][SIZE=-1]40[/SIZE][SIZE=-1] [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]for a shoot that i had inside a strip club. I just wanted everyone to know that it worked great. I was very pleased with its performance. The battery that was supposed to last for only 2.5 hurs actually lasted more along the lines of 3-4. Yes we turned it off from time to time, but not very often. I highly recommend this piece of equipment if you are considering buying one... and no, you can't see the footage lol![/SIZE][SIZE=-1] :) [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]Thanks VIDLED!

How did the color temp workout? Use any gels? I've got the dayled and have been thinking about getting a second to add to the versatility. Love the Dayled a whole lot!
 
Thanks, RedEye. I've been looking into buying the VIDLED coolLED-40 myself, so it's good to hear some feedback about it.

I got the coolLED-40 too... Great light and super bright.. You definitely have to throw a diffusor on there!

I ended up running the 3001 diffusor with the 3410 & 3408 to warm it up a bit. http://www.rosco.com/us/filters/cinegel.asp

Not only is an excellent product, but Marius is the MAN.. I placed my order on Monday and told him I needed it by Thursday and it was delivered by Weds! Now that's service!

Definitely want to go with the black case.. much cleaner looking IMHO.

I've just about completed a review of this neat little device and will post the URL when done.

This is a solid piece of equipment, very bright, dimmable, self contained power with great battery life. Pretty impressive.

What happened to the review link? I'm very interested in this review! The strip club testimonial actually has my interest because i shoot in similar environments (sadly, without the topless women)

I see you accept Paypall, but what other options do I have?

Can I use a Credit Card or check to pay?

Hey Bob,
you can call during the day, and we can take your order & CC info right over the phone. The only checks we'd accept are USPS Money Orders though. Phone number & address are on the website.

I got the normal version with an extra battery pack and the ball joint for swivel.
