Very small case for HMC?

Hey,

So I'm looking for a very small case that is right around the dimensions of the cam itself. Maybe 16x8x8? I will be shooting a mountain bike film and a BMX film this spring and I need to be able to fit my camera/SD cards/batteries in my backpack. My tripod attaches to the outside of the backpack. I'm just not that comfortable putting the camera in the backpack without anything protecting it.

Anyway, it seems the smallest pelican for this camera is too big to fit in a backpack, so I'm checking with you guys to see if you know of something that might work for me.

I've got a Kata CC193 . Dimensions are 21.5 x 8.6 x 10.2 . The HMC 150 fits with a Rode NTG-1 attached to it . There's about 4" in the font of the case for extra batteries and other stuff . But there is no way you will be able to fit this into a backpack . Kata as well as others make backpacks specifically for smaller camcorders like the HMC 150.

I doubt there is a camera bag that will fit the camera inside and that fit into the backpack.
