Very Short Mockumentary

Pretty boring. Not that funny. Mockumentaries are suppose to be funny. I think if it were cut in half with less blank space between cuts it would be better. Also the audio was bad. I hear way too much ambient audio. It's the constant hissing and washing machine? that bugs me. More angles. This is way to long to only cut between 3 angles. You need a tie in to the product. Pan out to a wide angle on your actor in only a dress coat and whitie tighties underwear. Have the mentos tucked into his undies??? just an idea. This short is way to serious, but if you had a super funny ending ie full grown man in underwear you might be able to sell it. You want to see a funny mockumentary? Click here:

If you want to critique a mockumentary I did with the help of a drunk guy click here: Note this was not planned he just started talking and I recorded it. The main thing is look at all the different camera angles. Also this was shot with a $650 camera not a dvx.

Take this with a grain of salt because it's easy to critique others work and I don't want to scare you away from the forum. On a possitive note I liked the framing of the 3 angles you did have.

Kind of got it, but way too many pregnant pauses and bad audio. For a mockumentary to work you need an absurd idea(not always) but you definitly need an incongruous character. i.e. This is Spinal tap is an example.

Keep trying man.
