Very old Mole Fixture help

Not a bad start at all. Especially for only $750!

I had my first casualty today.
A Mole baby soft light arrived damaged from shipping with the mounting yoke cracked in two.

That sucks. On this 750 he had removed it and carefully packed it separately in bubble wrap. good seller. I think it came from a theater environment. It had a twist lock 3 prong on it and a bolt with wing nut attached to the yoke. From my theater days I know those twist lock plugs are a theater staple, but haven't seen them on film sets really.

I wonder if that metal is high grade enough to weld or if it's "pot metal".

It is "white" metal but a VERY good welder could fix it. He would have to be top notch.

That's what I thought. A really good TIG guy maybe. Just noticed you're in Phoenix. I was in the film festival there two years ago. Loved it.

Sender filed a claim with UPS. I'll wait till they come by on Monday.
In the mean time I'll work on the second soft light and two nook lights scored off eBay.
