Very odd DVX error

I recently picked up a dvx100b, shot a few things and it all went well, but now i have no idea what happened. Basically all I see is black, it says that my iris is closed and my gain is at -3 but no matter what I do to change this the camera doesn't respond, its basically frozen. The cam is picking up audio and I can playback footage fine but on the rec mode somethings messed up. It says im in A mode too if that helps. Does anyone know whats wrong?
 
First off, change that SIG of the GL to the DVX :)

Ok, now that I got that off my plate, you mentioned that your iris is closed. Or is it just saying that? hen your at f16, or closed, you WILL see black. So maybe thats why. But if your open, then you shouldn't see the black. If that's the case, maybe send it to Panasonic?
 
lol will soon. It says the iris is closed and it wont let me open it, as well as change anything else.
 
I'm gonna put up a vid of the problem later for you guys, I think its something with the ccd's thats messing the camera up. I finally got an image to show up but it was with a strong blue tint and then 5 min later it went back to black.
