VERY long life battery options

Bebob now makes an interesting battery mount that's pretty clever. It replaces the removable side handle and has multiple outputs for the camera, 12v accessories and 7.2v accessories. It's available in either V-mount or Anton Bauer plate. Forget what they cost but we sell them along with lots of other solutions. If you don't think you will be using the side handle (I can't imagine -- the placement is terrible), then this is a great, slim way to mount a battery.

Did you get the dummy battery adapter with the D-tap on the end or the one that mounts to the gold pins? The D-tap version like I said is s**t. I had went through two of them before B&H told me that it was a design flaw. The larger gold-pin version works like a charm. I've been using it for months now. The charger does what it says on the tin. It plugs in via the D-Tap. Not fancy, but it always does the job. In order to get this much juice, you'll need to carry around a few more Panny batteries, or drop some dosh into a more expensive and less portable v-lock or Anton Bauer system.

Hey Zachary,

The solution in terms of the battery and mounting is fantastic and just what I was looking for but it just beggars belief that a company would make something and wholesalers would actually sell it with such a flaw!! I bought the dummy battery as there was no other option to change the connector? The dealer here in the UK is incredibly unhelpful though, Im hoping the replacement will work but I doubt it.

Thx
Steve

I can't find any pictures of this online. Have you seen it in person?

Zacuto Anton bauer plate powering everything.

What exactly are you using to power the camera and accessories? We went through 2 Switronics XP cables for the AF100 and none of them ever worked. I'd love to find a way to utilize our inventory of Dionic and HyTRON batteries with our AF100.
