Very first shots

My camera just came this afternoon, and today we just shot some experimental stuff.
It was all natural lighting, I was just playing around with filters. Any comments on how to make them better? Some of the grabs I've seen here look INCREDIBLE.

I'm kind of intimidated with all the settings on this camera, so any input would be awesome. I'm making my way through the manual now.

If these are just your "warm up shots", I'm sure you would do great things with the camera, say a few days from now?

Thanks for the comments guys... much appreciated.

When people always ask about filters with this camera... I just adjust the 3 white balance options (B, A, and PRST)... Are those the 3 different color filters you use?
