very first letus35fe footage

enjoyed the clip. Nice lense. Please share a picture of your new toy for us to see. :) do you mind?

very nice footage. I like the letusFE more and more....

please let us know what lens you did use, if you used any rails, focus unit or not?

Thanks.

I used a 50mm 1.4 nikkor lens. the footage is not CCed. its shot on interlace mode and later dumped out as 25p footage.

it took me about 20mins to setup initially due to not knowing how to align the gg when the adapter is screwed tight to the camera. but happy to know that it could be easily adjusted later and its breeze to setup and to focus the GG with the camera and easy to manual focus with the lens to due to the large screen of my dvx.

The workmanship is good .

I will be testing it with my 24mm.

Wonder anyone tried using nikkor DX lens which does not have aperture settings? I tried inserting the 10.5mm DX lens but the aperture seems too bright to use compare to

why i choose letus35FE ...

why i choose letus35FE ...

Before I order letus...
I choose to order letus35FE due to the reasons below..
1. Its Flip Enhanced so i need not a separate monitor or other lcd tricks.
2. Its portable
3. Beautiful bokeh and quality as i seen from other forum members
4. Cost.

After receiving the order..
1. No Regrets.
2. Its sharp (would have to reduce incamera sharpness)
3. It somehow enhance the colour of the dvx camera
4. it holds highlights pretty well

thanks for your insight on the letusFE. I am pretty sure I am going to order this puppy within the next month.

it seems like for the first time you have to adjust the GG, right? I know it is mentioned on the website, and I keep hearing about it, but it sounds like it is pretty easy

the small problem here is the only way to have the adapter connected to our camera is through the screw thread and every screw thread could be different so once we screw-tight the adapter, the GG glass may not be "square-on" the camera stock-lens that is when the adjustment comes in... but once you know the trick it would be chicken feet. Am planning to bring this along to cover a wedding shoot but will only dare use this on less crucial part of the wedding.

ok, I see, so every time you would have to adjust it by using the screw, seems preety straight forward to me... thanks for clearing that up!

actually for me i did just adjust once after that everytime i screw the letus to my dvx it will somehow fall into correct place with the gg. fantastic!
