Vertical lines in low light footage

Whenever I shoot concerts, which is allot, I get these weird vertical lines in my footage. I think it has something to do with red blue and black light, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas?

it's really hard to tell by the picture you gave us but I would say it's because you are editing on an incorrect timeline.
or it could be the lighting, because red is the weak point for this camera

so tell us in which farmate you shot? and what timeline you edite on. plus how do you capture your footage.

mmm...I always shoot 24p or 60i so I haven't shot 30p in a while...
so I can't remember at the moment but I thought you needed to edite it on a 29.97 timeline. I forgot how the capture works but I think you can capture without the pulldown too.
maybe someone else can help you..

by the way, do you get these line when you shoot in naturall lighting too? or is it always when you shoot concerts?

Gain is Zero. I get the same thing with 24p and 60i too. Its not the time-line, because the DV clips have the lines too. I'm in squeeze mode, I heard that could cause it if the capture doesn't stretch it properly

Sooooooo... we know why it happens... but do we have any idea of how to fix it in the future? A filter perhaps?
stop shooting concerts that have red lighting and never let people wear red shirts...jk

there are filters that can fix this. I never used it so I can't point it out. sorry

read the thread blackdogs377 posted. it seem like you can lower the CHROMA LEVEL. or use the filter Chroma Blur in Vagas
