Hi,

I've got this issue, with a dark band on footage. Shot on stock GH2 with a Tamron lens and a Nikon adapter, I don't have a pana lens
to try so I don't know if it happens with those.

Has anyone experienced this? Could it be the adapter? I'm using a Kiwifotos LMA-NK_M43.

This is weird. do you have a hack on? have you tried resetting the settings? cleaning the sensor? Pixel refresh?
Last resort is probably Panasonic Tech Support.

this has come up now and then from other users. its either light leak from bad adapter or sensor. i probably hedge my bets its the adapter if it doesnt show up with pana lenses

I had this problem before. Change to a better made adapter solve the problem. Reckon is light stray and reflect into sensor.

I hope it's the adapter rather than the sensor...

Can you recommend a better adapter to use? I currently use this one:

I'm sure it's not your sensor. I had the same problem before and changing to another adapter solve the problem instantly.
I'm using this at the moment http://www.amazon.com/Voigtlander-Micro-Adapter-Lenses-Cameras/sim/B001RTEGYE/2
it's expensive but I got it as cheap as used.

Could you try wrapping the seam from the lens and adapter with gaffer or painters tape and retry? I'm curious to know if that is the case.

banding still.jpg

Hello everyone, I figured since this was on the subject of banding, I would post here rather than starting a new thread. As you can see in the picture, I have a dark line that travels along the bottom third of my shot. The line seems to move at different iso's from the bottom, to top, to middle. This was also shot on the 20mm pancake lens, so it wouldn't pertain to any adapter. I'm thinking I should send this in to panasonic, but wanted to see what your thoughts were. Thanks for the help!
