Vegas Media Generator??

Vegas has "Media Generator" that makes noise and background textures really easily...
I haven't been able to find much beside "Lava" in Media Composer 5.5 (academic)...

Is there a simple way create simple background textures in MC 5.5 without another program?
Or should I just do it in After Effects?
