Ok, so the subject is a bit misleading here. Last month I was in Vegas to shoot an interview with an unamed boxer. While waiting for him, I took the liberty of shooting the table top dancers at the party. If you recall, I posted that video for a few days and had to remove it due to my bandwidth going through the roof.

Well, EA SPORTS announced today that Bernard Hopkins will be their offical cover athlete for their upcoming boxing game, Fight Night 2005. The video I shot of Bernard is mixed with gameplay footage in this world exclusive video from EA SPORTS.

The actual interview clocked in at 25-minutes, and only portions of it were used in this clip. We'll be posting up the full interview at a later time.

I am not sure I like the idea of Bernard being the coverman for this game because of what some say is the EA Sports curse. There was a football player, I think Ray Lewis, who ran into trouble. And of course, the first game's coverman was Roy Jones Jr., who has been knocked out twice in his last two fights.

Just say no Bernard! Let somebody I don't like do it, how about Joel Casamayor?

LMAO! I was about to say the same about the EA curse. Even though I'm a fan of the great Hopkins I now hope he will fiight Jermaine Taylor (who I am a bigger fan of since he is from my home state) in his next fight. I hoping the EA curse will go into effect. ;D

I know who should be on the cover......JOHN RUIZ. Then he should have a rematch with David Tua. Maybe this time it'll last longer than 19 seconds. ;D

I just hope age doesn't catch up with B-hop too soon. He is the best fighter p4p hands down.
Zombie; did you get a chance to play the game? Last years version showed promise but it has to work out a LOT of kinks.
