Varizoom Rock-DVX on DVX100a

We had one of these in both of our DVX100A's, and they worked just fine. (The one we still have is still working fine, and I'll bet the other one is still working fine for the guy who stole the camera. :) )
 
I have used the VZ Rock with Focus, Iris, Zoom and Record option for over the last year.
It works simply amazing! I would never shoot a live performance with out it! NEVER!
It's worth every penny! Trust me. And I'm not getting paid to say this either.
 
It will definitely work with your DVX100A. I've used it on my 100B and VariZoom's specs say:

CompatibilityDVX100/100A/100B, HVX200, DVC30, DVC60, DVC80

IMHO this is a great tool. Ditto what BergVision said. I plan on getting another for my "Fig-Rig".
