VariZoom for AF100

[donnyb]

I am looking at getting a used AF100 that comes with the Lumix 14-140 lens. I have used the VariZoom VZROCKPZFI to control my previous camera (HMC150). Is there something similar that works to control zoom on the AF100?

The HMC150 and the AF100 share the same protocols for the zoom control port, so what works in one will work in the other. I have both cameras and my Bebob controller works on both.

That said, the 14-140 lens is *NOT* a zervo zoom lens, so any zoom controller would be worthless with it (beyond the start/stop function). However, I do have the 45-175 zoom, which is a servo zoom, and it works fine with a zoom controller.
