VariZoom focus/iris control for Panasonic HVX

VariZoom is now assembling the new ZFI control (Zoom, Focus, Iris control) for the HVX200, and DVX B series. The units will be available in about 2 weeks and the images should be on the web site soon. www.VariZoom.com

Will this controller (or any upcoming controller) have the ability to hit pre-programmed focus points with either of the Panasonic cameras?

The potential for this -- rather than just "focus near" or "focus far" -- would be phenomenal, but it hasn't been clear if the new Panasonic focus connector gives this ability.

The new VariZoom ZFI control does not have any programmable memory. It would not be that hard to make one with programmable memory but we have to see a little more demand before we start to work on a new control.
