VariZoom Cable Converter

Our company currently has a Varizoom controller for a Canon Lens but we need one for the Fuijinon Lens that comes with the 300. I was checking out the VariZoom Cable Converter, does anyone know if this works?

It does. We have the 8-pin to 8-pin version from the Pro-C controller. Also controls zoom speed, which you cannot do at the lens itself!
