Various diffusion filters on the AF100

Did a little comparison with a few of the popular diffusion filters, to see what effect they may have on the AF100's image. No conclusions drawn, just look and see if you like the effect.

Filters tested include Tiffen's 1/2 Black ProMist, Soft FX/1, Warm Black Diffusion 1/4, 1/2 Black Diffusion, and Formatt SuperMist Black 1/2.

The Warm Black Diffusion 1/4 looks nice, but it might just be adding chroma you had dialed down?

I'd be curious of the effect on nearly blown out highlights.
 
Barry have used the 1/2 black promist a few times - for the right person / mood, its lovely. 1/4 warm black diffusion, looks great on this model. I dont have any warm blacks, might have to look at at. Great for that pale skin.
 
I agree I liked the same one. Barry, could you stop posting for a while. I keep trying to catch up to your number of posts, but since the "bump" was disallowed in
the marketpace, I keep falling behind.
